"In the spirit of the late John Peel, the tune was unintentionally slowed down before its release on the 2009 remix EP Retreat, and the mistake wasn't noticed until long after the record came out when Steev Errors received his copy of the album and was somewhat baffled as to what had happened to his remix. It turned out to have been caused by an unnoticed bit-rate transfer which slowed the whole tune by 10%, and no-one noticed because it still sounded ace." The irony...

Basically, we locked Vessels in their studio with a load of songs from some of the finest indie labels around, and asked them to play their favourites. The results are on the right to listen to here, or downoad to your itunes. Thanks to the nice people at Leaf, Smalltown America, Brew, Big Scary Monsters & Run of the Mill for sending us music.

Also, thanks to Robert at Erased Tapes for sending music too; sadly the band were far too organised and were already on their way with recording the podcast when we got the ET songs. Go and listen to them at their site, it’s all very good indeed.
